Our Journey Through Business Growth
From a small consultancy helping local entrepreneurs to becoming Australia's trusted partner in business acquisition education – here's how we've grown alongside our community.
The Beginning: A Simple Idea
What started as informal coffee meetings with fellow entrepreneurs in Brisbane quickly evolved into something bigger. Rydell Hutchinson, our founder, noticed a gap – brilliant business minds struggling with the complexities of acquisition financing and due diligence processes.
Expanding Our Educational Reach
By 2021, word had spread beyond Queensland. We'd helped over 150 entrepreneurs navigate their first business purchases, and the demand for structured learning became clear. This year marked our transition from purely consultative services to comprehensive educational programs.
Today: A Community of Learners
Our current focus isn't just on individual success – we've built a community where experienced business owners mentor newcomers. Our programs now span six months to a year, giving participants time to absorb complex concepts and build lasting professional relationships.
Looking Ahead: Education That Transforms
We've learned that sustainable business education can't be rushed. That's why our upcoming programs, launching in September 2025, will emphasize practical application over quick fixes. Participants will work through real case studies, engage with successful business owners, and develop the analytical skills that make the difference between a good investment and a great one.
What excites us most? The ripple effect. When someone successfully acquires and grows a business, they create jobs, strengthen communities, and often become mentors themselves. This isn't just about individual financial growth – it's about building Australia's entrepreneurial ecosystem from the ground up.
Rydell Hutchinson
"The most rewarding part of this journey isn't the businesses we've helped acquire – it's watching our participants develop the confidence to spot opportunities others miss. That skill stays with them for life."
